St Cuthbert's
8:00 am
Holy Communion (BCP)
St Andrew’s

Collect for Today:
Risen Christ,
faithful shepherd of your Father’s sheep:
teach us to hear your voice
and to follow your command,
that all your people may be gathered into one flock,
to the glory of God the Father.

Post Communion Prayer:
Merciful Father,
you gave your Son Jesus Christ to be the good shepherd,
and in his love for us to lay down his life and rise again:
keep us always under his protection,
and give us grace to follow in his steps; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

NOTICES

Parish Giving Scheme Digital Launch
I reported to members of the congregation at St. Cuthbert’s that we were expecting the “soft launch” for the online sign up of the Parish Giving Scheme to be the 9th April. However I have just received an email from the Diocese Generous Giving Advisor that there has been a delay. They now expect the launch to take place probably in the summer.  In the meantime if you are considering supporting the mission and ministry of our church on a regular basis by direct debit they suggest that we continue to use the paper forms for the time being. There are some packs containing forms on the table just inside church or ask me to bring you one.

At Communion Services
If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine. Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing. Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.
