News in the pews

Sunday 4th November – All Saints

Collect for Today:
God of holiness,
your glory is proclaimed in every age:
as we rejoice in the faith of your saints,
inspire us to follow their example
with boldness and joy;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Post Communion Prayer:
God, the source of all holiness and giver of all good things:
may we who have shared at this table
as strangers and pilgrims here on earth
be welcomed with all your saints
to the heavenly feast on the day of
your kingdom;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

at 7:30 pm at St Cuthbert's.
Join is on Sunday evening to pray for our villages. We will start with coffee and then have prayer and worship. Everyone is the village is welcome so do bring others with you. We have seen the Lord do a lot of new things among us and we are growing but we want to keep in the centre of God's will and pray for the next steps he would have us take. We want to keep prayer in the centre of all we do so please join us for prayer and fellowship.

Trip to Oberammergau 2020
I am organising a trip to Germany to see the Passion of Christ which, only happens every 10 years. Professional actors portray the Life of Christ and bring it to life as you watch his story unfold, done throughout various part of the village indoors and out. This has taken place for over 500 years in this little German village, so if you are interested please do send me an email. It will not be binding, I am simply trying to see if there is enough interest to form a larger group from our area. kimberleykford@aim.com
or 259 2238.
