Ladies Night Out The next Ladies Night Out will be in December and is fully booked as we are going to Launde Abbey for a Christmas Lunch. However we will resume meeting at the Oadby Grange Farm Pub from January and are thinking of trying for lunchtime, instead of evening.

Christmas Tree Festival, 30th November to 2nd December St Andrew's Church and Village Hall, Burton Overy. Open 10am – 5pm daily. Includes Crafts, Refreshments and Christmas Stalls in the Village Hall.

Prayer for the Villages – Tonight! 18th November – 7.30pm St Cuthbert's Church
Please join us for a night of prayer and worship as we seek to following God's will for the future of
our benefice. We will start with coffee and time to talk and then pray for different aspects of our
village lives. If you have anything you think would be good to pray for please do let Kim know or come and share what is on your heart that evening. It is open to any Christian in our villages.

Trip to Oberammergau 2020 I am organising a trip to Germany to see the Passion of Christ which,
only happens every 10 years. Professional actors portray the Life of Christ and bring it to life as you
watch his story unfold, done throughout various part of the village indoors and out. This has taken place for over 500 years in this little German village, so if you are interested please do send me an email. It will not be binding, I am simply trying to see if there is enough interest to form a larger group from our area.

Sound and Vision
We are now developing more services using sound and vision; using the digital projector and mixing the sound through the sound desk. We are keen to get more people involved in helping to set up
and "tech" some of these services both at St Andrew's and St Cuthbert's. If you think this is something you could help with, please speak to Dave or Simon.

Readers Wanted
St Cuthbert’s School is looking for volunteers to come and listen to the children read. You can arrange with the school the times you are available if this is something you feel you can do. Please call school reception on 2592764.
