 At Communion Services

If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine.   Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing.  Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.   If you have difficulty coming up to the Communion Rail and would like the Vicar to come to you, then please inform a sidesman.

St Cuthbert's Church Flowers - A big "thank you" to all the St Cuthbert's Flower Arrangers for their support throughout 2013.  There is a calendar on the table at the back of the church and perhaps you could please write down the dates when you will be able to arrange the altar flowers during this year.  Of course, new flower arrangers are always very welcome to join the existing group.  Please contact Phyllis Hallam on 259 2205 if you can help.

It has been suggested that some members of our congregation might like to make a contribution towards the cost of sending some flowers in appreciation of all that they did for our Church to Jennie and Graham Wearne who have moved to Somerset.  Anyone wishing to make a donation, please contact Anne Folwell on 259 2052.

Pudding Nights at Launde Abbey - If the pudding course is always the best part of the meal for you, why not go along to Launde Abbey and indulge yourself properly.  Enjoy a modest savoury first course followed by six delicious puddings, until you have to say "I'm full!".  Price £20. per person.  7.30 p.m. for 7.45 p.m. supper.  Dates available:- 13th February, 13th March, 3rd April, 22nd May, 19th June, and 24th July.  Please contact suzanne@launde.org.uk to add your name.
