At Communion Services

If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine.   Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing.  Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.   If you have difficulty coming up to the Communion Rail and would like the Vicar to come to you, then please inform a sidesman.

Lent Course - This year's Lent Course will commence on Wednesday, 12th March at 7.30 p.m. and continue at the same time each week until Wednesday, 9th April.  Gordon Webb has prepared notes for the course and thinks it best to give out the complete set before the first session as some homework is involved!  It was decided to charge £1 for each set of notes and that the money raised would be donated to Churches Together in Leicestershire.  30 sets of notes will be produced (15 for each church) and they will be available at the beginning of March.  The theme is "The King and the Kingdom" and explores the role of Jesus in portraying and preparing people for God's coming reign.

12th March   'Temptation'                       The Revd Gordon Webb

      19th March   'Conflict'                              Roger Flowers
