Lent
Course
- This year's Lent Course will commence on Wednesday, 12th March
at 7.30 p.m. and continue at the same time each week until Wednesday, 9th
April. Gordon Webb has prepared notes
for the course and thinks it best to give out the complete set before the first
session as some homework is involved! It
was decided to charge £1 for each set of notes and that the money raised would
be donated to Churches Together in Leicestershire. 30 sets of notes have been produced (15 for
each church) and are now available. Anne
Folwell is collecting the money. The
theme is "The King and the Kingdom" and explores the role of Jesus in
portraying and preparing people for God's coming reign.
