At Communion Services

If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine.  Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing.  Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.   If you have difficulty coming up to the Communion Rail and would like the Vicar to come to you, then please inform a sidesman.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who gave so generously either at the Barn Dance or through our door. We are all overwhelmed with your generosity and can say that we have raised the £1000 for Isaac to go to India next year. So thank you again. He will share a bit more about what his journey entails in the New Year and will of course give us a talk once he has returned. Also thank you for all of your cards and emails, there were so many that it would be impossible to respond to them all but please know that we are so very grateful for your love and support, it has been such a blessing! Thank you! Kim, Charlie

COMMUNITY CHOIR Thank you to everyone who supported the Community Choir Challenge evening recently.  The Spectaculars (the Burton Overy Choir, named as such because they nearly all wear spectacles!) sang wonderfully well and over £8000 was raised for Hope Against Cancer.  Congratulations to Helen Egerton who organised the event.
