At Communion Services
If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine.  Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing.  Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.   If you have difficulty coming up to the Communion Rail and would like the Vicar to come to you, then please inform a sidesman.

KIM’S DAY OFF is every Friday.  If urgent matters arise on Fridays, please contact Roger on 07768794662.

NOTICES

Howard Barlett. - It is with a sad heart that we have to say goodbye to Howard. Although it was not expected, he passed away peacefully at home on the 24th of February. Please keep Moria and Howard's children in your prayers as they come to terms with their loss and the loss of a precious member of our church family. A Thanksgiving Service will be held on Tuesday 13th March at 3:00 pm at St Cuthbert’s Church.

School Visit -  13th March from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. I still need more volunteers to help me run the morning. A new school will be visiting St Cuthbert’s and they are bringing the foundation stage children. We would like 8 or more volunteers to help us on the day as the children are much younger than normally visit.  We will still be showing them different parts of the church in groups, so if you can help please do let me know. Thank you, Kim

Lent Group started on 21st February at 2:00 pm in the Methodist Hall. We have coffee and biscuits and a discussion time together. The book this year is "A Discipling Presence" and will be looking at discipleship in a rural context. There is still time to join us if you would like to come.

Christianity Explored -  7:30 pm every Thursday at St Cuthbert’s during Lent and Easter. We have had to move to the church due to the numbers of people who have joined the group. We are off to a great start so please do feel free to join us this Thursday.

Mothering Sunday - 11th March at 10:30 am   - Please note this is a joint 9:15 and 10:45 service so the timing has changed. It is a family friendly service so please do join us.

New Sunrise Service is being added this Easter at 6:30 am at St Cuthbert’sWe want to start Easter with celebrating the resurrection of Christ at sunrise. So for those who would like to join us at sunrise please come for the Easter fire and short service. It will followed by bacon sandwiches and coffee in the Church.

Ladies Night Out will be at the Oadby Grange Farm Pub on Wednesday 14th March at 7.30pm and April 18th. Please note the new date for March.  Any ladies interested or needing to book your name for one/both evenings,  please contact Mo John  mojohnal@gmail.com or Tel. 0116 2593504. Thank-you Carole & Mo
