give
us reverence for all creation

Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
Post
Communion Prayer
God
our creator, by your gift
the
tree of life was set at the heart of the earthly paradise, and the bread of
life at the heart of your Church:
may
we who have been nourished at your table on earth
be
transformed by the glory of the Saviour’s cross and enjoy the delights of
eternity;
through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen

Lent Course starting on Monday evening 24th Feb at 7:00
pm and Wednesday 26th Feb at 1:30 pm. We will be going through a study that goes with the movie the ‘Greatest
Showman.’ There are 5 weeks of studies but we will be starting a week early
with a bring and share dinner on the Monday and a bring and share lunch on the
Wednesday. On those days we will eat and watch the movie as a social but with
the idea that it will help us see the overall picture of the movies message
before we start the study. Monday nights will be held at Linda and Simon
Harwood’s house and the Wednesday’s at St Cuthbert’s.
Quiet Prayer and
Meditation
This
group will now cease to meet till after Easter to give flexibility
for those who want to go to Lent groups.

Time to Think About
Holiday
Our thoughts begin to turn to holidays about this
time of year.
For the last 2 years Bernard and I have stayed in a
Christian hotel at Grange in the Lakes. We have thoroughly enjoyed
it and would certainly recommend the hotel and location. Last year
I joined a small group for a 3 day Art workshop whilst Bernard planned to
explore the beautiful countryside on foot, by train and in the car.
There's so much to do and I joined him in my spare time.
Food is delicious, staff so welcoming and lovely
'rooms with a view'.
There are a few attractive brochures at
the back of the church to browse over coffee or why not take one home for more
information. Get dreaming, planning and booking !!
Contact Christine Higgins on 259 2624 for more
details.

clean and tidy, please contact Jenni Neal at jenni.neal@outlook.com to let me know your availability.
This request is open to all males and females
Annual
Diocesan Vocations Day, 14th March at St Martin’s House, 9:45 am
If you have ever thought about doing something more
for the Lord, this is a great day to explore what ministries there are in the
Church of England. It doesn’t always mean doing ministry full time but can
incorporate many different aspects of missional life within the community, i.e.
Readers, pioneers, pastoral assistants, evangelists, children and youth
workers. So if you are interested in having a look at any of these ministries
please let Kim or Sarah know or simply book yourself a place by calling Mission
and Ministry on 0116 264 5317 or email them on mmbookings@leccofe.org. The day will include seminars and a free lunch with talks from Bishop
Guli and chats with those who have been in ministry for around our diocese.
There is no commitment to signing up for anything just come and have a look.
