At Communion Services

If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine.  Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing.  Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.   If you have difficulty coming up to the Communion Rail and would like the Vicar to come to you, then please inform a sidesman.

Leicester Grammar School visit October 5th, at 1:30 pm.   We have another group coming from the school and we are looking for volunteers who would be willing to explain the different areas of the church to small groups of children.  We need 5-6 people so if you can help please see Kim.

Weekly Envelope Scheme  If anyone would like to support the church through the weekly envelope scheme, some spare sets of envelopes for the year September to August are available from Amy Cook.

Parish Giving Scheme  We are introducing a new Parish Giving Scheme as an alternative to those who give regularly by Standing Order or in envelopes, especially if you are able to Gift Aid.  In this scheme we can recover the Gift Aid generated each month rather than once a year, which makes financial planning easier.  Documentation is available from Amy Cook.
