At Communion Services
If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine.  Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing.  Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.   If you have difficulty coming up to the Communion Rail and would like the Vicar to come to you, then please inform a sidesman.

NOTICES
Candlelit Advent Carol Service  Come and join us at St  Cuthbert’s on Sunday 27th November at 6.30 pm at the start of the season of Advent and enjoy the atmosphere of a candlelit service.

Would your children like to sing at the Christmas Tree Festival service at 5.30pm on Sunday, 4th December?  We are gathering children to sing a carol at this short service held among the trees.   There will be two practices on Tuesdays 22nd and 29th November at The Springs, Carlton Lane, Burton Overy.  Don't worry if you can only make one date, children are quick learners!  Anne 259-2440 rabloor@gmail.com

Christmas Tree Festival at St Andrew's Church, Burton Overy on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd  December - 10.00-6.30:  Sunday 4th December 10.00-5.00.  Festival Carols at 5.30pm.  Come and see the display of trees in church and visit the Village Hall for refreshments and various stalls.  Proceeds to The Aplastic Anaemia Trust, St Andrew's Church and the Village Hall.

Ladies Night Out December’s LNO will be at the home of Dave and Carole Henson. This will be on Tuesday 13th December, 12 until 2pm. Christmas Flowers If you would like to make a donation towards the cost of the Christmas Flowers at St Cuthbert’s Church please see Phyllis Hallam, Lyn Flowers or Carol Neal.

Mothers’ Union  You are warmly invited to join the Mothers' Union for their Advent Carol service in Leicester Cathedral on Tuesday 6th December at 2.00 pm when the preacher will be the Rt. Rev'd Martyn Snow, Bishop of Leicester.

Why not put an extra can or packet in your shopping basket to bring to church services. 
 St Cuthbert’s supports Leicester Cathedral’s Welcome Group for destitute asylum seekers 
and St Andrew’s supports a homeless charity.
