At Communion Services

If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine.  Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing.  Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.   If you have difficulty coming up to the Communion Rail and would like the Vicar to come to you, then please inform a sidesman.

Remembrance Sunday 13th November  Please note that the time of the Service has changed from 10:50am  to 11:00 am.  Please come early as this service fills up very quickly.   Ideally you should be seated by 10.45 at the latest otherwise you may not be guaranteed a seat.  Parking restrictions will apply to part of Church Road.

Big Craft Fair, Houghton on the Hill, Saturday 12 November : 10:00am - 3:30pm.  This popular event will again take place, hosting over 50 stalls in the Village Hall, the School and the Church, organised by The Friends of St Catharine’s Committee.



Why not put an extra can or packet in your shopping basket to bring to church services.  St Cuthbert’s supports Leicester Cathedral’s Welcome Group for destitute asylum seekers and St Andrew’s supports a homeless charity.
