Flower arrangers for St Cuthbert’s Church – A meeting is required to sort out the flower rota for this year. Please telephone Phyllis Hallam (259 2205) to discuss a suitable date. Would anyone like to join the flower rota? Usually it’s only the two small arrangements behind the altar that need doing. If you might be able to help at any time, please ask Phyllis anything you need to know.
Table missing – We think someone borrowed the yellow folding table from St Cuthbert’s Church. If so, please could it be returned as soon as possible! It’s been missing for a while now.
Nativity Film – At the next house group meeting at The Springs, Carlton Lane, Burton Overy on Tuesday, 18th January at 7.30 p.m., all four episodes of the new BBC production of the Nativity will be watched. If you haven’t seen it or have missed some episodes, do go and watch it as the Bloors have plenty of space.
Knitters required – Do you have any time over Friday lunchtimes to support a knitting club at St Cuthbert’s School with a view to enabling the children to learn the skill to knit a 6” square and help make a ‘patchwork pledge’ blanket? The aim is for a blanket to be produced that will be large enough to wrap a building! It will eventually be divided into numerous smaller blankets and distributed by Age Concern. Take a look at www.inspireleics/patchworkpledge to find out more. If you could help, please contact Cee Martin (ceemartin1@aol.com) or through the school (259 2764).
