Church Breakfast served at about 9.15 a.m. at St Cuthbert's Church TODAY -
all welcome for croissants and home-made jam and marmalade.
Christmas Tree Festival - Very many thanks to all those who came to the Christmas
Tree Festival which once again attracted a large number of visitors and was a
very successful event. Thanks also to
everyone who entered a tree(s) and also to those who manned the many rotas throughout
the weekend. The winning trees were:-

Food for the Homeless - Please can you bring non-perishable food items to
church so people have food to eat over Christmas.
Please support the lovely candlelit carol service at Carlton Curlieu –
with poems and Christmas memories AND the Spectaculars Community Choir it will
be a very special service – one to bring your friends to!
Christmas Concert at St
Andrew's - On Tuesday, 18th December, at
7.30 p.m. Mosaic, a choir of eight voices, will be singing beautiful carols. All proceeds to Death Watch Beetle Fund. Tickets (to include a glass of wine and canapés) £8. Available from Robert Brown (259 3184).

Sound System and Hearing Loop for St Cuthbert's Church - Several people have kindly agreed to make generous
donations but we need some more to enable us to purchase this system. Please consider prayerfully if you can
contribute something however large or small as it all mounts up and then
contact the Vicar.
Sparklers will start again on Monday, 7th January. As the school term doesn't start until the
next day, we would love to see any children who are now at school or pre-school
- it will be a special Sparklers Reunion!
Epiphany - You are ALL
invited on Tuesday, 8th January 2013, to join with Kilby & Wistow cum
Newton Harcourt Mothers' Union group at their Epiphany Service in Burton Overy
Church commencing at
10.30 a.m. Come and join us as we
journey along with the three Magi to meet the Baby Jesus. Tea/coffee will be available following the
service.
