At Communion Services

If you are a communicant member of a Christian Church, you are welcome to come up to receive the bread and wine.   Otherwise you are welcome to either remain in your seat or come up to receive a blessing.  Keeping your hands down by your side will signify to the Vicar that you wish to receive a blessing.   If you have difficulty coming up to the Communion Rail and would like the Vicar to come to you, then please inform a sidesman.

Humour is a gift – Written by an NHS medical secretary:  "Patient was alert and unresponsive."

Please pray:-
·         For the family and friends of Tom Marshall and Jim Dunning who died recently.
·         For Peter Wood, John Spencer, Myra Humphrey, Judith Buffrey’s grandson Joel, Rachel Stevens, and all who are ill.
·         For all the organisations and their leaders in our village that cater especially for our young people.
·         For progress in our search for a new vicar.
·         For Syria, that this terrible conflict may be resolved and that peace may return to all the troubled areas of the Middle East affected by uprisings and wars.
