SECURITY OF OUR CHURCHES   Sadly South Leicestershire Churches are again suffering from lead thefts.  Please keep a look-out for anything suspicious when you are passing your Church and contact your Churchwarden.  At St Cuthbert’s we keep the double gates closed and our villagers should be  aware that if the gates are open outside service times they have reason to be doubly aware of a possible problem.
SAVE THE DATE!  July 2nd will be our benefice BBQ in David Alexander's garden.  More details will follow.
THE ABUNDANCE OF GOD: A RETREAT DAY  This quiet day, at Launde Abbey, on Monday 5th September (10am to 4pm) is led by Sally Hayden and Barry Hill. The day includes talks and exercises on Noticing Abundance and Saying Thank You, and includes plenty of space for quiet and a Eucharist.  All are welcome to the day which is one of Launde’s regular quiet days on the theme of God’s abundance, you do not need any prior experience of retreat to attend. It is an opportunity to learn, to meet others, spend some recuperative time and to meet with God. Quiet Days, may, as the name suggests, involve some periods of silence and there will be free time for you to spend on a favourite activity or just relaxing in the Abbey and its grounds.  Price £25 per person, to include coffee, lunch and tea. Bookings direct with Launde on 01572 717254
Please pray for:-
